Nigel Bowe, MD

Nigel is an Emergency Medicine Physician working at Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency and Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Nigel grew up in Chippewa Falls, WI and has been an avid outdoorsman his entire life. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and scuba diving. Nigel is currently a FAWM candidate and pursuing his DiDDM certification. He is excited to bring his passion for POCUS to the austere environment as well as helping teach the VTC Wilderness Medicine Fellowship ultrasound curriculum.
