Jake McClinton MD

Jake McClinton grew up in Omaha, Nebraska with a love for the outdoors, hiking during the summer and skiing in nearby Colorado during the winter. He got dive certified young and got dive experience in Mexico and Thailand. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska, where he developed an interest in indoor climbing and attended medical school at the University of Iowa. He then completed an emergency medicine residency in the Appalachian foothills with Memorial Health System in Marietta, Ohio.

As a fellow, he looks forward to completing his DiMM and FAWM and building the skill sets necessary to excel at caring for patients in austere environments. He has a particular interest in rafting, envenomation, and insect-vectored illnesses.
