1. Participant-Initiated Cancellations and Registrations
All participant registrations, tuition fees, course fees, merchandise purchases, and financial contributions made to Blue Ridge Adventure Medicine (BRAM) are final and non-refundable.
- No Refunds or Transfers: No refunds, partial refunds, or automatic transfers to future courses will be issued if a participant cancels, withdraws, or fails to attend a scheduled course, workshop, or educational event for any reason.
- Attendance: Absence, late arrival, or incomplete attendance of a course does not constitute grounds for a refund, credit, or makeup session.
- Course Modifications: BRAM reserves the right to adjust course schedules, itineraries, locations, or instructional staff as required by operational demands. Such adjustments do not entitle participants to a refund.
2. BRAM-Initiated Cancellations
In the event that Blue Ridge Adventure Medicine must cancel a course, workshop, or event in its entirety (due to low enrollment, instructor illness, venue issues, severe weather, or other administrative circumstances), registered participants will receive a full (100%) refund of their paid registration or tuition fees.
3. Limitation of Liability for Ancillary Expenses
In the event of a cancellation by BRAM, the organization’s financial liability is strictly limited to the refund of the registration or tuition fee paid directly to BRAM. Blue Ridge Adventure Medicine is not responsible for, and will not reimburse, any ancillary expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to:
- Non-refundable travel arrangements (flights, train tickets, vehicle rentals).
- Lodging or accommodation bookings.
- Specially purchased gear, equipment, or supplies.
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase independent travel insurance to protect against these potential losses.
4. Donations and Philanthropic Contributions
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all charitable donations and philanthropic contributions made to BRAM are irrevocable, non-refundable, and cannot be rescinded once processed.
5. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a purchase, registering for an event, or submitting payment on this website, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this refund and cancellation policy.
